We are delighted to announce that our joint Head of Chambers, Alison Easton, is to be appointed King’s Counsel.
Alison will be formally sworn in at a ceremony on Monday, 24th March 2025, where the Lord Chancellor will present Letters Patent on behalf of His Majesty The King.
Joint Head of Chambers, Mark Twomey KC commented:
“This is a tremendous personal achievement that reflects Alison’s many successful years of hard work at the Family Bar. It is also a fabulous day for Chambers. We have increased our silks in Chambers fourfold in less than eight years. Alison’s appointment means that, as a Chambers, we can now offer leading and junior counsel for all areas of family work: children, finance and Court of Protection.”
Alison, described as “forensically outstanding”, has long been recognised for her expertise in emotionally charged, complex cases involving the most serious allegations. Throughout her career, she has skillfully represented parents facing significant vulnerabilities, emphasising the importance of client care alongside robust advocacy.
Coram Chambers proudly celebrates Alison Easton’s appointment as a KC. It is a testament to her outstanding contribution to the legal community and a reflection of our unwavering dedication to providing exceptional legal representation for all our clients.
