Ramanjit has experience of international, cultural, and religious disputes, and issues of relocation and child abduction. She is also in demand for cases involving serious allegations of harm, complex medical evidence, intractable hostility, and parental alienation.
Experience
Ramanjit is a committed and skilled family law practitioner. She frequently represents parents, children (directly and through guardians), extended family members, intervenors, and prospective carers/adopters in both public and private law proceedings. She is instructed in the most serious cases, including in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, against both junior and leading counsel.
Prior to practicing as a barrister, Ramanjit was a solicitor-advocate in private practice specialising in family law. She has also assisted lawyers, through the charity Amicus, with death penalty appeals in the US (Mississippi).
