Coram Chambers Achieves Record Legal 500 Rankings for 2026

Coram Chambers has achieved its highest ever Legal 500 results in 2025, with 49 barristers ranked, 24 new promotions, and standout performances in Children Law and Divorce and Financial Remedy.

Coram Chambers is proud to announce its strongest ever performance in the Legal 500 2026 rankings. This year, the set has maintained its position in the top tiers for both Children Law and Divorce and Financial Remedy, while achieving its highest number of individual barrister rankings to date.

Children’s Law remains a significant area in Coram’s practice, holding Tier 2 status once again.

Notably, Mark Twomey KC has advanced to Tier 1, reflecting his consistent excellence.

Alison Easton KC has been recognised as a New Silk, progressing from Tier 3 as a junior.

Several other members, including Ramanjit Kang, Anarkali Musgrave, Richard O’Sullivan, and Judith Pepper, have all advanced to Tier 3, demonstrating the depth and quality of the team.

The Divorce and Financial Remedy team continues to impress, retaining a strong Tier 3 ranking. Greg Williams now sits in Tier 1, while Alex Laing has moved up to Tier 2.

The set celebrates the advancement of Adrian Barnett-Thoung-Holland, Sophie Hill, Sophie Kay, and Jackie Marks to Tier 3, highlighting sustained growth and expertise in this complex area of law.

In total, Coram now boasts 49 individual barrister rankings, up from 45 last year. Since 2016, when the set had just six individual recognitions, this marks a remarkable trajectory.

There have been 24 promotions and new rankings this year alone – the highest ever at Coram.

In Court of Protection and community care, Alison Easton’s new status as Silk is a particular highlight, with Nick O’Brien and Kyle Squire continuing to perform strongly in Tier 3.

Hannah Whitehouse has also achieved a Rising Star/Tier 1 ranking, recognising her work on the North Eastern and London Circuits.
