Supporting access to legal services
On Tuesday 9 June, volunteers from Coram Chambers joined forces with Dads House for the annual London Legal Walk. The event brought together thousands of legal professionals, including the Lady Chief Justice, for a 10K walk through the heart of London.
The London Legal Walk is a major fixture in the legal calendar. It provides vital support to the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), which funds free legal advice charities across London and the South East. These charities offer a safety net for people who cannot afford legal representation.

Walking in support of legal advice charities
The Coram Chambers team of volunteers (including Alex Clift, Mariella Steijger, Beth Payne, Lucy Taylor and Katharine Higgs) walking alongside the volunteers from Dads House, helped shine a light on the importance of access to justice. Their efforts raised funds to maintain vital services for families and individuals facing legal challenges.
Coram Chambers and Dads House have a long-standing partnership. Together, they provide pro bono legal advice and representation to those who need it most. The walk allowed the team to demonstrate commitment to supporting the community.
