The legal community rallied in remarkable numbers yesterday as they took to the streets for the London Legal Walk 2025, a spirited 10km journey to raise vital funds to ensure access to justice for all. A cross-departmental team from Coram Chambers proudly participated in what was a glorious day.

The team had the honour of sharing the route with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of fellow legal professionals, united in their commitment to this important cause.
This annual event is organised to benefit the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), amongst others, including Advocate and the Free Representation Unit. Last year’s special 20th anniversary Walk set a remarkable precedent by raising £1 million, providing critical support to countless individuals who desperately needed legal assistance.
The statistics are sobering: a staggering one fifth (21%) of the UK population lives in poverty, equating to approximately 14 million people who may find themselves unable to access the legal help they require. The funds raised during the London Legal Walk are crucial in maintaining free legal advice charities operating across London and the South East, ensuring that no one has to face legal challenges alone.
This year, Coram Chambers’ commitment to the cause was evident as team members showed their determination to help those in need. Their collective efforts, along with donations from generous employees and supporters, contribute significantly to the agencies that provide direct legal advice services.
