Chambers is very pleased to announce that John Thornton has joined Coram as a full time tenant.

John has extensive experience in all aspects of private law children cases including complex fact-finding hearings, parental alienation, relocation, and intractable contact disputes and has represented children via rule 16.4..

He often represents parents in complex public law proceedings as well as appearing on behalf of the child. His caseload includes the particularly vulnerable along with those facing the most serious of allegations such as physical and sexual abuse, non-accidental injury, factious illness, and child fatality.

John has been described in the Legal 500 as ‘Pragmatic, Forthright and Intelligent’ and ‘Very experienced in both public and private children law matters’.
