Lucy studied law at the University of Oxford, where she was a scholar, and was awarded two Examinations Prizes for achieving the top results in her College. Lucy then received a Cassel Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn to study the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
During pupillage, Lucy has assisted in private children (including serious allegations of domestic abuse, coercive control, alienation, fact-finding and international relocation), financial remedies and TOLATA (including foreign assets, non-disclosure, fraud and related criminal proceedings / POCA) and public children law (spanning the whole range). Lucy has assisted on appeals, stay applications,cases in the High Court and worked with leading counsel. She also has an interest in and has worked on cases in the Court of Protection.

Outside of work, Lucy has volunteered as a helpline call-taker for Family Lives and volunteered as a teaching assistant at Frank Barnes Primary School for Deaf Children.
