Joe Bernard

Joe Bernard has over 26 years’ experience as a family clerk and joined Coram in August 2019.

Before joining Coram, he previously held the position of deputy senior clerk at a leading family set for 13 years, where he gained a wealth of experience and industry knowledge.

Joe was promoted to Senior Practice Manager in July 2024 and is the dedicated Court of Protection clerk for Chambers.

Joe is responsible for managing and developing members’ practices including; client relationship management, assigning cases, negotiating fees and general diary management.

Joe also prides himself on mentoring the more junior members of the clerking team and plays an integral role in the strategic development of Chambers.

He is a proud member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and Resolution.
