Coram silk takes part in new discussion series
Shiva Ancliffe KC of Coram Chambers spoke on a panel yesterday at Dawson Cornwell. The discussion marked the first event in a new series on domestic abuse and coercive control.
Mr Justice Williams chaired the session. Simon Bruce provided an introduction before the panel discussion began.
The panel also included Forum Shah, Sarah Jane Lenihan and Jessica Reid of Dawson Cornwell.
Focus on coercive control in family law

The discussion covered the court’s approach to PD12J in Hague Convention cases. In addition, the panel addressed how mediators manage disclosures and safety concerns in real time.
Beginning of a wider series
This event launches a broader programme of discussions by Dawson Cornwell. The series aims to support informed practice and improve outcomes for children, survivors and families.
