Parenting Coordination: A new and emerging form of NCDR

Coram Chambers was delighted to host a seminar on Parenting Coordination on 16 September. The event took place in our conference rooms and brought together NCDR professionals from across the family law community.

Speakers and key topics

Karen Barham, Consultant Family Solicitor at Moore Barlow LLP, and Caroline Croft, Barrister at Coram Chambers and founding member of FLANC, led the session.

Karen introduced Parenting Coordination, when and how it can be used and when it might be most effective. Attendees heard about its use in difficult cases and the role it can play in supporting co-parents to implement a final order or parenting plan.

Caroline spoke about the potential advantages that Parenting Coordination could have, where some of the family members are neurodivergent.
