Hudson has over 25 years’ industry experience and joined Coram in September 2019 as Director of Clerking. He provides leadership and management with respect to the development of barristers’ practices and the overall enhancement of Coram’s profile and works cross-departmentally to support relevant marketing activities of chambers. He worked in Sydney, Australia in a similar role and as a result, has a deep understanding of the family law market, both in the UK and abroad.
He held the role of First Junior and was the designated Children (Public Law) Clerk at his previous set, where the nature of his work also involved matrimonial finance, private and international children matters. Hudson was one of the first clerks to receive level 5 diploma in leadership and management through UMD Professional Ltd.
Hudson sits on Coram’s Business Development and Marketing committee and Executive Board. He is the London Family Law representative of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and is a member of Resolution.
Hudson has been described in the legal directories as “friendly and conspicuously helpful” [Legal 500] and “sensitive and considerate when dealing with solicitors” [Chambers & Partners].
