The Bloomsbury Family Law Conference is taking place on May 16, at Gray’s Inn. The Conference hosts a variety of family law experts including barristers and solicitors, and the opening address is being given by The Right Honourable Lord Justice McFarlane. Divided into two family law sessions, the morning will focus on children while the afternoon will focus on matrimonial finance.
In a session titled “Children’s Evidence in Family Proceedings”, Alex Laing will be speaking about ABEs, the law surrounding children giving evidence, and his perspective on whether children should meet judges. This session is aimed at helping you to better prepare yourself for arranging and conducting interviews with children, obtaining reliable evidence from children, and supporting children during this stressful time. Alex’s talk begins at 11:30AM.
