Coram’s Business continuity plan during COVID-19 outbreak
Coram Chambers is monitoring developments from Public Health England on the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak continuously. Due to the current climate, chambers is taking the appropriate action to keep it’s members, staff and visitors safe.
We are operating as normal but we are limiting the number of people entering the premises for everyone’s safety. If you do need to visit us, please use the buzzer on the outside for someone to let you in or call ahead to rearrange your appointment.
If you are a client, we are still able to hold client conferences either phone, Skype, Zoom and PowWow. These can be arranged through contacting our clerking team (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All our members (barristers) are able to work remotely and we do not, at present, see any impact this could have on our clients as a result.
The clerking staff are on a working from home rota but are fully equipped to do so by using soft phone connectivity and have full access to our network. Please contact the clerking staff on 0748 751 0706 if your query is urgent.
All internal and external Coram Chambers events have been put on hold for the foreseeable future but we hope to reschedule these for later in the year. We hope to run a number of webinars instead which will be advertised on our News & Events page. Should you have any questions relating to marketing events, please contact Rukaiya Bhegani by email at email@example.com.
