The Coram Alternative Families Team is working at the forefront of family law to meet the needs of modern families. We are renowned for our experience and expertise in the complex issues that can arise in relation to alternative families. Our alternative families barristers have acted in leading cases on surrogacy, adoption, same-sex parenting, parental declarations, and assisted reproduction law, and have been pivotal in how the law in relation to alternative families has developed. We also act in property and financial disputes arising in alternative families, such as pre-civil partnership agreements, nuptial agreements in same-sex marriages, financial remedies on dissolution of civil partnerships or divorce, and TOLATA disputes between cohabiting partners.
