We have a strong management and administration team,
led by Senior Clerk, Paul 'Sammy' Sampson and Chambers
Administration Manager, Martin Dyke.
Sammy was with us for ten years as a junior clerk
before being appointed to his present position in
1995. He is assisted by First Junior Clerk George
Mo, who joined us in 1990, and a team of junior
clerks. Martin was a solicitor in private practice
for some twenty years before taking up legal management
on a full time basis. During that time, he had his
own practice and was head of the litigation department
of a ten-partner provincial firm. He is therefore
particularly familiar with the requirements of and
pressures on those who instruct us. Together, they
and their colleagues seek to provide a friendly, efficient and accessible
service both to professional and lay clients and
to members of chambers.
The clerks' room is staffed from 8:30 am to 6:30
pm Monday to Friday. In the event of an emergency
arising outside these hours, please ring Sammy on
the number given on the contact
page.
