The Coram international child law team has extensive experience of dealing with international child abduction cases involving both Hague and non-Hague convention countries.
Of its nature international child abduction work is a demanding area of practice where cases develop quickly and need immediate action. At Coram we recognise that both solicitors and lay clients need a prompt and comprehensive service. As applications are frequently made on an emergency basis, members of Chambers are ready to advise by phone on an emergency basis and are available to make without notice applications (for instance to secure the location of an abducted child) at very short notice. In addition to advising on immediate practical steps, members of the team will assist in the preparation of documentation, case management and procedure. We will take the case through court from the first application to the final hearing.
