We are an established set of chambers offering a
specialist service in family law and associated
areas of practice. We currently have fifty-three members of chambers.
We have two specialist practice groups covering
the law relating to children and ancillary relief. A number of tenants also practise
in associated areas of civil law, particularly in
the area of care standards.
We aim to be a centre of excellence in our fields
of expertise. Each practice group meets regularly to share
members' experience of developments in law and practice.
We believe in representation for all and encourage pro bono work. We are committed to
equality and diversity and comply with the
Equality & Diversity Code for
the Bar.
We operate comprehensive quality assurance policies
and procedures and have been awarded both Barmark
and Quality Mark for the Bar in recognition of the
high level of service that we provide.
We seek to provide an efficient and cost-effective service
and pride ourselves on being approachable and friendly. We particularly welcome client feedback to assist us
in monitoring the quality of the service that we
provide. Please click here to view our
complaints procedure.
Fees in privately funded cases should be negotiated
in advance with the Senior Clerk.
In September 2006, we moved to new premises at 9-11 Fulwood Place, London WC1V
6HG very close to the PRFD and just a
short walk from the Royal Courts of Justice (see
map).
The new building is nearly twice the size of our
former premises and therefore gives us the space
that we need to continue our programme of expansion.
It has been fully refurbished and fitted
out to provide not only high quality accommodation
for members of chambers and staff but also modern
facilities for clients. We have five
air-conditioned conference rooms, seminar and
mediation suites,
video-conferencing facilities, wireless internet
access and facilities for the disabled.
For further information or to provide feedback on
our service, please call our Administration
Manager Martin Dyke
or our Senior Clerk Paul Sampson on 020 7092 3700.
