Background

Tracy accepted tenancy at Coram following the completion of pupillage in 2010 and is regularly instructed in all aspects of children and domestic violence cases. Prior to being called to the bar, she worked in social care for 10 years and as a senior mental health social worker was approved to carry out assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983. She is particularly adept at representing clients in cases involving mental health and capacity issues.

Tracy has a keen interest in Middle Eastern culture and politics and has travelled extensively throughout the region. In the summers of 2002, 2003 and 2006 she coordinated groups of volunteers with UNIPAL, an educational charity for Palestinian refugees, and taught English in Lebanon and the West Bank. She speaks a basic level of Arabic.
