Children (private law) - Radhika appears in fraught and intractable cases, which often involve allegations of domestic violence and abuse. She represents clients at all stages, from emergency applications to fact finding and final hearings.
Children (public law) - Radhika acts for local authorities, parents and children at family proceedings court and county court level, at interim and final hearing stage.
Ancillary relief - Radhika acts and advises at every stage of ancillary relief proceedings, from first appointment to final hearing, in both private and publicly funded cases. She has also acted in cases involving assets in another jurisdiction.
Domestic violence – Radhika is experienced in applying for and obtaining orders under the Family Law Act 1996.

Re E (children) [2011] UKSC 27
Radhika appeared as junior counsel instructed by the AIRE centre, which intervened in this case. The AIRE centre intervention focused on issues arising from the recent ECHR case law on child abduction. The appeal in the Supreme Court considered issues around Article 13 (b) of the Hague Convention, Article 8 of the ECHR and Article 3 (1) of the UNCRC.
Background
Prior to commencing pupillage at Coram, Radhika participated in a wide range of voluntary work, including volunteering for ChildLine, Amnesty International and Howard League for Penal Reform. She is a strong believer in widening access to the profession and is involved with the Inner Temple Schools Project.
