Neil has a busy and expanding practice encompassing all areas of family law and related areas.  He has appeared at all levels of court up to and including the High Court and has experience representing a broad range of clients, including those with mental health difficulties.  Neil has been particularly noted for his friendly and pleasant manner with both lay and professional clients alike.

Background

Neil joined Chambers in October 2010 after having successfully completed his pupillage at Queen Elizabeth Building (QEB) and Hardwicke.  During his time at QEB Neil assisted members of chambers in the cases of Judge v Judge [2009] 1 FLR 1287 (CA) and Re R (a child) (residence order) 2 FLR 819 (CA).

Whilst at university and Bar school Neil spent time volunteering at the Personal Support Unit based at the Royal Courts of Justice and the Principal Registry of the Family Division where he gained invaluable experience assisting and supporting litigants in person.
