Children (Public Law and Private Law proceedings including child abduction), Domestic Violence, Ancillary Relief and Mental Health.

Sarah Branson's practice has covered all areas of family law since she accepted an offer of tenancy upon the successful completion of her pupillage in chambers in October 2003.

Whilst working full time in Parliament as Casework Manager and Legal Researcher for the erstwhile Labour MP, Geraint Davies, Sarah was involved in drafting family law legislation including the Regulation of Child Care Providers Bill and the Physical Punishment of Children (Prohibition) Bill. She takes a close interest in domestic violence issues and has drafted amendments to the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Bill 2003.

Sarah also has a keen interest in human rights and has undertaken voluntary work for Liberty and worked for The United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Afghanistan and Iran.  She has also taught English in China, Taiwan and Japan.
