Jerry Fitzpatrick practises in all areas of
family law. He represents parents and carers,
local authorities and children in care proceedings.
He has significant expertise in representing
children in complex private law cases.
Jerry's ancillary relief experience includes cases
with assets of up to a million pounds.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Jerry held
senior teaching and educational consultancy
posts in London schools. He was a member
of Croydon Council from 1986 to 2002, serving in
many senior positions including Deputy Leader of the Council
and Chair of the Finance, Personnel and
Equalities Committee. Following
implementation of the report of the Nolan Enquiry,
he was the first Chair of the Council's Standards
Committee.
